Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Ground and Tunnelling Engineer to join our busy and expanding experienced team.

The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of Projects, either as standalone bridge commissions or as part of multidisciplinary major projects.

You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team.

The responsibilities of this role include:

Working on international projects related to geotechnical engineering as part of the Enterprise Capabilities' family
Work is accomplished autonomously on small projects or portions of larger projects supported by EC within established procedures and practices related to ground and tunnelling engineering
Independently prepares ground / geotechnical models using specific digital tools.
Processes geotechnical data for ground interpretation and report preparation.
Supports in the preparation of geotechnical designs and recommendations as bearing capacity for foundations, earthworks, stability and settlement analysis, etc.
Performs a self-check of work products prior to submitting to others and participates in quality control reviews of documentation originated by equally or less experienced staff.
Prepares project deliverables that are reviewed by senior team members.
Provides guidance to entry level engineers.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

Proven track record in the use of specific ground engineering and tunnelling software as Geoestudio / Plaxis / Rocscience ( > 2 years)
Experience in the use of geotechnical data processing tools such as ArcGIS, Leapfrog, OpenGround and gINT for the preparation of mining and civil works geological / geotechnical models
Proven experience in site investigation planning and management.
Experience delivering site investigation and characterization interpretative reports.
Advanced level in CAD software (preferable AutoCAD and/or MicroStation).
