We are looking for a
Vet Key Customer Development Manager, who will be responsible for managing and developing the relationship between Hill's Pet Nutrition and the corporate clinics/buying groups in order to ensure recommendation and profitable sales of Hill's Pet Nutrition Products.
Principal duties and Responsibilities:
- Key Vet Customers & Vet Wholesalers:
- Deliver quarterly and annual Sell Out, Net sales, Volume and GtN targets
- Annual/Biannual negotiation of T&Cs/JBP
- Negotiate & execute agreed Customer plans, within set budget
- Coordinate plan implementation through TMs nationwide
- Deliver Hill's KPIs across: Distribution, Quick Reco, Staff Feeding, Education/Training
- Establish strong buyer relationships, building rapport with buyers to understand their needs and develop business solutions to meet their requirements.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the customer strategy & their clients and how Hill's can optimise our brands and strategy within these customers
- Utilise all appropriate Sell Out data to identify gaps in core range, distribution & other opportunities.
- Develop, communicate and implement customer strategies that drive future profitable growth for this channel
- Work with Marketing Team to develop Category/Clinic/Client initiatives
- Manage all account administration including; new line forms, accruals, promotional nominations, invoices and pricing
- Provide full ROI analysis for promotions & events
- Submit monthly Vet Key Customer opportunities. Seek and present key challenges and opportunities at CBP meetings
- Attend all Vet Shows & Congresses to meet customers, as and when required
- Teamwork:
- Submit monthly Vet Key Customer opportunities
- Seek, present & implement agreed key challenges and opportunities at COGIM Meeting
- Attend customer meetings as and when required
- Attend all Vet Shows & Congresses to meet customers e.g. SPIVS, LVS, BSAVA etc., as and when required
- Proactively take on project work when requested to develop and broaden personal skill set and to drive and influence the wider Hill's business
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Veterinary Degree Preferred
- Computer Skills
- Spanish & English (Fluently)
- Good negotiation skills
- 5 years of professional experience in Vet Channel
