Main general requirements and activities:

Composites materials and technologies knowledge for aeronautical components. 5 years of experience
Manufacturing process definition for composites technologies
Codesign with specific Material and Process, Design and Stress for the manufacturing capability dossier approval and signature.
Definition, set up and industrialization of industrial systems of composites manufacturing components according to the Program strategy (rates, recurrent costs, )
Analysis of manufacturing results based on nondestructive and destructive inspections
Framework inside the Composites manufacturing requirements Airbus standards
Project management experience, planning management and control, risk analysis, PFMEA, and PDCAs.
Health and Safety in an industrial environment Basic knowledge

Specific responsibilities for this position:

R&T technologies and materials evolution**:

Knowledge and experience to identify and study the influence of the composite materials in the aircrafts parts, type of material, formats, CPT.. Composition, capabilities and manufacturing behaviour of composites materials for aeronautical purposes. Mainly in prepreg technologies materials and comparison with dry fiber materials and thermoplastics.
Acting as manufacturing engineering responsible for the ME R&T projects for composites. Performing the activities agreed with R&T on time to reach the committed TRL (technology readiness level) milestones.
Transnational reference for prepreg manufacturing process
Co-Design for manufacturing with Engineering and Materials and Process
Trials definition to test new materials aligned to industrial impacts
Monitoring of the trials at shop floor and analysis and interpretation of results.
Release reports for conclusions and creation of manufacturing capability dossier
Initiatives for environmental solutions at manufacturing (4Rs)
Others skills:
