Responsabilidades:
WOOD is recruiting for a Project Procurement Manager to join our Supply Chain Department in Madrid.
- Responsible of the complete Supply Chain cycle of all RFQs within a project, including but not limited to buying, manufacturing expediting, quality inspection and logistics
- Prepares and request for quotations (RFQ's) to suppliers in order to obtain competitive and responsive quotations
- Prepares a complete bid evaluation that includes all commercial considerations, and attached technical evaluation, with a preferred supplier recommendation
- Obtains all required signatory approvals, finalizes, prepares and issues the purchase order/change notice with applicable attachments. Ensures proper distribution is made and proper assembly of the purchase order file
- Develops and maintains necessary supplier correspondence, and ensure it is filed properly in the purchase order file
- Ensures that all departmental guidelines are followed
- Maintains highest ethical and professional standards as established by the corporation
- Evaluates existing suppliers
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- Sourcing and setting up new vendor(s) in accounting system
- Ensuring onsite accounts payable has all vendor/requisition/purchase order documentation
- Manages and supports the project expediting team, being responsible of vendors fulfillment of contractual delivery dates
- Manages and supports the project inspection team, being responsible for vendors compliance with quality requirements requested in the MR
- Manages and supports the project logistic team, being responsible for delivery of equipment/materials at site according to project planning
- Responsible of Procurement Project planning follow up and budget compliance
Habilidades / Cualificación:
- Degree in Engineering, Science, Economist or equivalent degree
- 10 years of progressively responsible experience in purchasing, expediting, inspection and logistic activities in engineering and construction equipment environment
- Fluent in English
- Comfortable working as part of a team but with a management responsibility
- Must be intermediate to advance in Microsoft Package
- Collects and researches data; gathers and analyzes information skillfully
- Meets commitments; participates in meetings; used to report to management
- Writes clearly and informatively; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
- Contributes to profits and revenue; works with integrity and ethically
- Follows policies and procedures; follows instruction, responds to management direction
- Completes work in timely manner
- Immediate availability
- Holding a valid Spanish work permit
