*****The Human Resources Assistant role: We have a great opportunity for a Human Resources Assistant to join our Human Resources and Organisational Development team As part of a small and supportive team, you'll play an integral role in ensuring we continue to provide an efficient and effective customer focussed service by being the first point of contact for providing support, guidance and answering HR related queries.

Key duties and responsibilities of our Human Resources Assistant:

  • Assist with the providing advice to managers, employees, and external customers on all aspects of Human Resources, including potentially sensitive situations
  • Advise and support recruiting managers on recruitment and selection, including recommending best practice for developing Job Descriptions & Employee Specifications
  • Produce Contracts of Employment and Statement of Written Particulars for new starters and changes to current working patterns
  • Work with the team on various projects, such as reward and recognition, implementing the health and wellbeing strategy etc
  • Develop and maintain a variety of data and information, undertaking data analysis to ensure data led decision making

What we're looking for in our Human Resources Assistant:

  • Level 3 qualification or experience of working within a Human Resources or administrative support environment
  • Ability to demonstrate a positive, flexible approach to team working
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion, alongside dealing with colleagues in a professional and sensitive manner
  • Ability to organise and prioritise own workload, working on your own initiative
