An exciting and challenging opportunity is available for the Stress Methods & Tools team within Airbus commercial Aircraft, joining the E2E Structural Analysis Methods & Tools and Services department.

Location shall be located in Spain.

The job holder will be part of the team in charge of defining and developing the future Stress Methods & Tools for next generation of Airbus projects extensively developing and employing multiple engineering, coding & digitalization skills in a global and collaborative environment.

In particular, special contrbiution shall be made to two specific areas:

definding and developing implemention of an adequate graphical user interface and also into the integration of workflow managment capabiliites within next generation stress tool.

Tasks & accountabilities

Contribute to the definition and implementation of required transverse services within the stress next generation platfrom targeting significant challenges in terms of lead time and data continuity and coherency across development processes. In particular main contribution area expected might be around the graphical user interface (GUI) and its connection to the framework underneath.
Contribute to the integration of the required workflow capabilities within the plaform.
Contribute additonally to the migration of new and/or exisiting methods and tools securing non regression of the solutions once migrated into the next gen stress platform
Develop specific capabilities within the Stress next gen framework in C++ and or Python in line with the ambition above.
Ensure the implementation and integration of stress methods in a multidisciplinary environment.
Followup and validate subcontracted activities

Required skills

Engineering qualification background and experience in aerospace engineering in particular structures design
Knowledge in Object Oriented Software Developments (C++; python, Qt, VTK )
Software architecture knowledge will be considered as a plus.
Knowledge on stress sizing and simulation tools (e.g ISAMI, Hyperworks, nastran ).
Selfempowered and Team Player, strong communication skills, flexible, engaged and curious
Fluent level of English. Spanish will be considered as a plus.
