WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a
Cisco WAN Engineer you will desing and deploy ultra-low latency network and wide area network infrastructure including overseeing and carrying-out installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, optimisation and documentation of all network hardware, security hardware, software and connectivity.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

Get involved with managing multiple projects and be responsible for configuring / optimising the network to ensure ultra-low latency is achieved for intraday trading and direct market access systems.
Provide exchange, broker and managed service providers connectivity to support market data delivery and order execution.

EXPERIENCE

4+ years' experience as a network administrator in a multilocation Ciscooriented LAN and
WAN environment.

EDUCATIÓN

University degree or FPII.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Strong Network engineering and project delivery experience
Excellent operating knowledge of common LAN and WAN technologies, demonstrable experience supporting complex layer 2 and 3 topologies in data center environments.
Advanced knowledge of routing and switching protocols; IPv4, OSPF, MP-BGP, MPLS
Strong experience with Multicast: PIM, RP, MSDP, IGMP and MDT
Excellent operating knowledge of Cisco IOS/NXOS command line interface. Cisco certification as an asset.
Expert knowledge of network monitoring PCAP decoding tools landscape (Netscout, SFlow, timestamping (PTP)
Scripting and automation experience (Ansible preferred)
Operational familiarity with DNS technology, specifically: Infoblox.
Excellent written and spoken English communication.
Must be available to work outside of office hours and weekends.
Participation in an oncall rota will be required.
