This is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Engineering Manager. It is based in our Tech hub in
Fuengirola, Spain.

We use
flexible, hybrid working and engineers typically spend around two days in the office each week, with the rest working remotely from home.

Job responsibilities

Work closely with your Engineering Manager and Product Owner, to ensure that the team delivers solutions to high value problems.
Be responsible for the technical direction with the team's domain as well as the breakdown of work for developers that work with you.
Ensure that the team is looking after the longterm health of the codebases and systems that you own.
Ensure that technical initiatives are prioritized along with product features.

Relevant BSc or MSc is preferred, applicable senior experience may compensate for lack of formal background.
5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a cloudnative, crossfunctional environment.
Thorough experience with microservices and APIs.
Comfortable with Agile methodologies.

Additionally, the following are nice to have (but not essential):

2+ years in a leadership role in a software organization.
Experience with.

NET/C#.

Experience with React.
Knowledge of the Azure ecosystem.
Expertise with CI/CD and test automation.
