We are looking for a Shift Supervisor to serve as our guests' first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation.

You will act as the 'face' of our company and ensure visitors receive a heartwarming welcome.

You will also coordinate all front desk activities, including calls, reservations and guests services. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our front desk provides professional and friendly service to our customers.

Responsibilities

Ensure front desk is tidy and has all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and informative leaflets)
Train, supervise and support staff, including receptionists and bellboys
Schedule shifts
Ensure timely and accurate customer service
Handle complaints and specific customers' requests
Welcome and lead the incorporation of new colleagues.
Troubleshoot emergencies
Ensure company's policies and security requirements are met
Perform all checkin and checkout tasks
Manage online and phone reservations
Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Maintain good interdepartmental communication.
Work experience as a Shift Supervisor or similar rol
Experience with hotel reservations software
Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and TripAdvisor
Customer service attitude
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Be able to communicate fluently in English and Spanish
