IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:

- plan, calculate, design, develop, test, and validate or modify mechanical concepts or systems
- identify and select components, materials, parts and semi-products appropriate for mechanical system design
- create mechanical models and tolerance analyses to simulate mechanical design concepts
- calculate and create final layout including documentation and specification for parts, assemblies, or finished products
- maintain technical product files
- analyze existing development procedures and suggests improvements
- implement or test design solutions
- upgrade the design of existing concepts

WHAT YOU WILL BRING?:

Passion for cooling systems in railway sector and a sense for responsibility and ownership in a multinational team work environment.

In order to be successful in this role you need to be open-minded and attracted by challenges.

WE ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR:

- mechanical / Material Engineering background
- used to work with Design Codes (ASME VIII Div 1 is a huge plus) & Regulatory Framework
- good knowledge of Siemens NX (or any other design software: Catia, SolidWorks, SolidEdge) - experience on creating technical drawings (including geometrical tolerance & welding acc. to EN 15085)
- experience in Finite Elements Analysis, Durability & Fatigue Life Calculations
- good communication skills, attention to details
