Responsabilidades:
Wood is currently recruiting for a Process Enginer Intern for Instrumentation, Control & Engineering

department in our Madrid office.

Wood is looking for students interested in accessing the professional world through external academic internships and offers the possibility to put into practice and expand the knowledge acquired during their academic career.

Students will get the opportunity to enter in the Power Plants industry projects working in the design department within the Boiler Engineering and Technical Area.

The role is offered to fit in students of last academic year with limited pending course obligations.

Perform P&I and Process Flow Diagrams/drawings
Perform selection & calculation of Instrumentation, Control Valves, Line valves, Blowdown / Blowoff tanks, Safety valves stacks and Flow Elements
Revision of Contract and Contractual Specifications

Habilidades / Cualificación:

Last academic year or master's degree in Industrial Engineering or Chemical Mechanical Engineering or similar
Spanish language at native level
Excellent command of English
Microsoft Office proficient, including strong proficiency in Excel
Academic situation that allows signing an agreement with a university or training center
Availability in the morning (daily dedication depending on the academic situation)
Able to manage own time and ability to prioritize at busy times
Creative and practical
Adaptable and persevering
Interested in pursuing a career within engineering
Work well with other people
Good communication skills within a team and externally
Development experiences and challenges
Motivated in bringing new perspectives and injecting fresh ideas into our department processes
Available immediately

Desirable:

Knowledge of AUTOCAD
Knowledge of AVEVA
