Description of the job:

A vacancy for a RFE Airframe Electrical Systems Installation Engineer has arisen within Airbus in Getafe.

Task & accountabilities:

Design and Validation of Electrical Systems Installation components and assemblies that are optimized in terms of weight, cost, performance and production/assembly requirements while highest safety of the product is assured using appropriate design tools.
Development and Validation of innovative design solutions answering complex challenges in a multifunctional context.
Analyzing and comparing alternative technical proposals to select the optimum solutions.
Coordinating and validating Electrical Systems Installation detail design activities (internal and external).
Supporting Electrical Systems Installation manufacturing, assembly, ground and flight tests.
Supporting engineering plan definition and execution.
Participating in the systems architecture definition with the architecture team.
The main deliverable is Definition Dossier for Manufacturing and Assembly (Component and Final Assembly Line). Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and tools and manufacturing capabilities guidelines.
Interface and communicate with relevant stakeholders along the end to end process from the definition to the in service phase.

Required skills:

Educated to degree level in Engineering
Experience in Electrical Systems Installation more than 5 years. Broad and strong background in aerospace systems installation design.
Delivery oriented, committed to provide solutions in a creative context while respecting schedules, budget and policies.
Enjoying challenges and comfortable managing uncertainty and unexpected issues and changes.
