Job Summary


In this role you are responsible for managing, coordinating and implementing new tasks within a team of Channel Manager Optimization Executives based across the globe.


The objective of the role is to define and foster best practise and process alignment, ensuring the team provides optimal support on Channel Manager connectivity related issues and pro-actively working on the reduction in API errors, in coordination with internal teams as well as the Channel Managers themselves.

You will also support strategic initiatives related to Channel Managers, collaborating with Sourcing, IT and Product teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Management of the Channel Manager Optimization Team, with capacity planning according to resources, monitoring workload and ensuring they are performing to the set objectives, behaviors and against their KPIs. Empower and guide the team on the resolution of escalated and complex connectivity related queries.
  • Ensuring alignment amongst the Channel Managers team members, leading best practice procedures, agreeing common processes and ongoing optimization of ways of working.
  • Reduce the overall API errors returned to channel managers, leading the team to proactively monitor the errors and taking the relevant corrective actions internally and externally.
  • Escalate high priority and reoccurring incidents to Product and IT, to ensure the optimal support and connectivity with Channel Managers.
  • Foster collaboration with existing and new Channel Manager partners, defining optimal technical set up in Hotelbeds Connect system and ensuring internal knowledge base in Salesforce is accurate and up to date.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal key stakeholders i.e Sourcing teams, Supplier API Team, TAM Team, IT and Product Teams.
  • Provide clear reports to line manager with feedback on Channel Manager Optimization Team results, workload and sharing ideas on leading a high performance team, personal development and fostering a growth mindset.

Required Skills:


  • Experience with connectivity partners, operations and contracting activity within the travel, tech and hotel industry
  • Knowledge of XML Language, API integrations and understanding of room code & rate plans setup and mapping process
  • Experienced with Channel Managers practices, mapping and CRS/PMS processes
  • Previous knowledge of API functionalities such as HSI, BMS, CBD, GVCC
  • Previous knowledge of Atlas system and previous working experience with apps (tableau, kibana) functionalities
  • Good analytical skills and a technical & datadriven mindset
  • Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Languages: fluent English with business proficiency level. Other languages desirable
