What is the Role?
This is an exciting new role within our European business and will play a vital part in our Net Zero commitment and ambitious growth strategy, come and help us Power Change in Europe


You will join a Renewables business that will lead activities across several Southern European countries with our major Hub in Spain.

The working environment will be international, diverse, inclusive and in growth mode.

The main objectives are to develop, build and own renewable energy plants - mainly Wind Technology but also Solar, Storage and Hydro across Europe to achieve our Net Zero commitments.


As part of the Technical Team, you will participate and support the development and design of Wind, Solar PV Plants and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in our portfolio.


Some of your main accountabilities may include:

  • Working closely with and providing technical guidance to development and construction teams and supporting the development team in the interface and relationship with the network companies to drive the delivery of grid connections in the timescales required.
  • Interpreting the Grid Code requirements and achieving and maintaining Grid Code compliance including Grid Code Testing and performance monitoring.
  • Undertaking grid feasibility assessments and due diligence of grid contracts in support of project acquisitions.

What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • A relevant Engineering Degree/Master Qualification with experience within a similar engineering environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electricity systems with ability to interpret and communication requirements of relevant engineering legislation, codes, and standards.
  • Experience in Grid Code Compliance in south Europe countries (Spain, France, Italy, and Greece).
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong command of English (C1 level)
  • An open mindset willing to join international environment and interested in joining an intercultural team.
  • Skills and competences on continuous improvement, project management, initiative and proactivity, creativity, communication and dialogue, loyalty and integrity, responsibility, and commitment
  • Experience with the Dig Silent, ETAP Grid Code will be valued.
