About the role
As our
Quality Lead GxP Training and Development you role will have a high impact on Novartis. Having capable and well-trained employees is a regulatory requirement and you will help to prevent regulatory and compliance risks to our business. This role will work directly with the
QA GDD Systems team and reports to the Global GDD Quality Systems Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively establish, deepen and sustain key relationships with Global Drug Development(GDD) and Global Development Quality(GDQ) senior stakeholders, and demonstrate an understanding of processes and methodology in order to provide appropriate learning solutions.
- Take on senior project management responsibilities by leading the development and delivery of required training programs according to timeline, regulatory and budget specifications.
- Lead capabilitybuilding strategies in GDQ, with clear definition of core competencies, key knowledge areas, behavioral indicators, and proficiency levels to optimize individual and team performance to ensure business success using trends and signals in collaboration with People & Organisation /Global Development University(GDU).
- Lead the implementation of the annual Quality Training Plan, and other Quality initiatives as required, in collaboration with the Quality Training Experts Network (QTEN).
- Active partners in learning networks and expert panels (including Global and GDU Learning Communities) to ensure collaboration for a streamlined, innovative training approach throughout Novartis and actively engage in GxP communication initiatives.

Role Requirements
What you'll bring to the role:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related fields. Advanced degree and/or MBA would be an advantage.
- Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within development.
Training programs and systems knowledge:
- PowerPoint (essential)
- Powtoon to a Proficient level.
- Camtasia to a Proficient level. (Experience with any other video editor is also acceptable).
- Easygenerator to a Proficient level.
- Articulate Storyline fundamental knowledge required. (Captivate or other professional authoring tools are also acceptable)
- The logic of how a Learning Management System in general works (UP4Growth/Cornerstone on Demand or others)
- Knowledge of how to set up learning experiences in MatchLearn/Cornerstone EdCast
e-Learning and Vendor management:
- need to understand what Novartis needs are and be able to convey to vendor
- General experience working with elearning vendors and know the typical cycle of WBT production incl. different responsibilities.
- Familiar with Chat GPT
- Knowledge about texttospeech and respective (A.I.) tools (e.g. Elevenlabs)
Languages
- Fluency in English (both oral and written)
- Knowledge of a second European language is an advantage.
