Digital Manufacturing Engineer / MES Developer (m/f/d)

Hywax GmbH is part of the international AWAX Group with approximately 700 employees. Around 310 employees and 17 trainees are involved in the production of various wax products at their site in the port of Hamburg. Their products have a global presence across diverse industries such as adhesives, packaging, paints, cosmetics, and more.

Your Tasks

• Design, develop, maintain, and provide digital solutions in MES and Historian
• Conduct process, workflow, and data analyses
• Improve processes on sites by visualizing real-time plant data
• Collaborate with production site colleagues to understand their requirements
• Estimate solution effort and aid in planning
• Enhance existing solutions based on user feedback
• Assist in change management through coaching and training
• Create user guides and provide training

Your Qualifications and Strengths

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years' experience or master's degree with 2+ years' in engineering or data analytics
• Proficiency in programming languages like Angular, Phyton, or C# for system maintenance
• Experience in project work, particularly in agile environments within the chemical industry
• Proactive, attentive, and structured approach to problem-solving
• Familiarity with various tools such as MS Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services, SAP, MES, and PLS
• Fluency in German (B1/B2) and good English skills
