Position Overview
We are currently seeking a talented, passionate HS IB Economics teacher to join our team in the Secondary School.

You will be responsible for implementing the teaching curriculum, ensuring the success of our students, and to work with a team of teachers within the school and network community.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Design lessons and units that lead to standards mastery and are aligned to grade level expectations and endofyear assessments
Personalize instruction by planning a program of study that meets students individual needs
Collaborate with other math teachers, school leaders, IT integrators, and curricular specialists to ensure that instruction is always meeting the needs of all learners.
Secure and prepare instructional materials in advance using a variety of resources
Communicate regularly with families to both solicit their input and share student social and academic progress.

School-Wide Qualifications and Attributes

Familiarity with recent North American teaching materials and methodologies
Experience with datadriven assessment tools that facilitate differentiated instruction
Evidence of recent professional development activities
Experience working in an internationally and linguistically diverse school setting
Effective oral and written communication within a school community
Ability to integrate instructional technology into the curriculum
Experience and commitment to sponsoring cocurricular and extracurricular activities
Familiarity and experience with the Spanish language at the beginner/intermediate level
Knowledge of Spanish is a plus

Conditions and Benefits

ASB Teacher salary
Medical coverage and pension through the Spanish social security system (private health insurance is provided until the employee is legally a part of the Spanish labor system).
Sick and personal leave in accordance with the Spanish labor agreement for private schools.
Free threecourse lunch on school and teacher work days based on the staff private agreement.
