Job Introduction

The Sales Project Manager (SPM) advise existing TGW customers in finding the right set-up for extensions of existing systems, developing tailor-made material handling concepts.


The SPM works on customer projects and is responsible from lead acquisition until the handover of sold projects to the realization department.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support Key Account Manager of Strategic Accounts in Sub-Projects
  • Create and implement a selling strategies to augment sales within the existing customer base
  • Proactive selling of emerging technologies and Entry-Solutions
  • Establish binding relationships with decision makers on all levels
  • Develop concepts, calculations and proposals for TGW customers in collaboration with the Systems Designers and other inhouse expert departments
  • Deal with commercial, legal, and technical contract negotiations
  • Assure data quality in CRM System & simple Back-Office tasks
  • Lead and motivate crossfunctional teams in the Sales Process
About You

  • Completed higher technical education in the field of Science o Technical Engineering
  • At least 2 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the material handling business and intralogistics solutions.
  • Attitude to do market and customer research
  • Highly tactical person with a profound knowledge of strategic and structured sales of integrated systems
  • Highly developed industry knowledge in combination with process and intralogistics solution understanding
  • Excellent social and communication skills and intercultural understanding
  • Languages: proficiency in English. German would be a plus
