What do you have to offer?

Essential

  • Previous experience of working on facilities or maintenance/technical environment
  • Proactive mindset and can do attitude.
  • Working on own initiative and motivated to improve standards.
  • Strong customer service, organisational and communication skills and working in a team
  • Demonstrable interpersonal skills with the ability to handle a variety of situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • IT literate, ideally with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety
  • Fluent speaking in English, Dutch and French, preferable with literacy however not essential

Desirable

  • Experience of Procurement
  • Knowledge of Teams and Sharepoint
  • BA4 and VCA, we will provide if not arranged

Which task can you expect?

  • Travel to all SD Worx locations in Belgium to perform site surveys/inspections, potentially expanding to surrounding nearby locations in time, 3 days would be on the road and 2 days per week based in the Antwerp office with the facilities team to report and plan schedule of visits.
  • Carry out check lists for facilities and DIKA in each location to ensure statutory controls for H&S etc are met while also promoting the comfort of colleagues and that the offices are utilised to their potential, to be the face of facilities and known in each location.
  • Service Desk cover, each Wednesday in the Antwerp office, using Cherwell review/process and close tickets
  • Report maintenance required, via cherwell, review RAMS for contractors, issue permits, oversee small works, sign off works and close tickets.
  • Proactively look to improve locations via preventative maintenance, H&S implement to avoid risk and promote attention to detail
  • Report cleaning issues to contractors.
  • Report to delight opportunities to improve the location.
  • Liaise with Facilities contact on site, check they have all they need, stationary etc, any improvements they would like to see implemented.
  • Cross function working with operations, delight and projects teams within facilities.
  • Any other adhoc duties as and when required
