OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE LEADER

KEY TASKS

Lead the OpX Implementation program - Deliver sustained results

  • Cobuild with Empowered Team site lead the site OpX Vision of Success, change
- and communication plan.

  • Lead the analysis to identify opportunities and define implementation requirements (Change Readiness, Organization Design, Goal Alignment,)
  • Perform Loss & Waste Analysis / Loss deployment
  • Define and update the implementation plan with Milestone Plan & Steps To Milestone Plan (STMP)
  • Establish and sustain the process to followup (weekly Program Mgmt. Team
  • PMT, monthly Site Steerco, bimonthly Milestone meeting), track & report progress & results and escalate support requirements to the Global OpX PMO.
  • Facilitate improvement initiatives through the most effective standard methodology e.g. Performance Improvement Projects (PIP), DMAIC, Kaizen Event,

Build Internal capabilities

  • Colead the maturity status of a site to identify capability gaps, quantify improvements, and define implementation needs.
  • Support the implementation of the Xpillars common means: Loss & Waste Analysis, Performance benchmark, Business case definition, KPI Tree, Data Visual Management, Work Standards, SOP & Short Interval Control, Leader Standard Work & Gemba Coaching, Rational Problem Solving, Continuous Improvement, Lean Thinking & Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, OpX Means maturity status.
  • By assessing the Means implementation status on a regular base
  • By challenging the department responsible on assessment outcomes
  • By providing training on specific means/needs
  • By coaching the key persons in the organization
  • By continuously training new facilitators for future CI initiatives

Establish & sustain Management Operating System (MOS)

  • Define Key Performance Indicators and targets for each process, with leading/results & lagging/managing indicators;
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and decisionrights for each process, e.g. RACI & RAPID;
  • Standardize management meetings and decision processes, with standardized Terms of Reference;
  • Establish and sustain the recurrent activities for the sitewide Management Operating System (MOS)
  • Establish Management of Change (MOC) process in order to ensure changes from improvements are implemented in a thoughtful way (not generating other risks/problems or negatively impacting our operational KPI's) and to ensure material master data (for planning & costing) are updated.
  • Give support to the site mgmt. team to define, establish & improve their Leader Standard Work. Goal is to support and sustain all implemented processes and to be able to discover & have eliminated all kinds of barriers (through e.g. Gemba walks, 1 to 1 coaching,)
  • Colead the OpX Means maturity status evaluation.
  • Participate to the MOS Community of Practices sessions
  • Execute (or coassist in) peer review assessments on other sites.> crosssite OpX pyramid assessments in order to crosspollinate on best practices and implementation styles.

PROFILE:


  • Academic degree: Master's degree in science/Engineering.
  • Experience: Min 5 years of relevant experience in Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence ideally in the food industry.
  • Languages: local site language, English (reading/writing/speaking)
  • ICT: MS Office + Office 365 Communication and collaboration tools (MS Teams, SharePoint,)
  • Change management & influencing (ability to engage people & drive improvements without formal authority)
  • Effective communication & Emotional Intelligence (sharing best practices/results to empower the program).
  • Driver for continuous improvement (Challenge status quo)
  • Coaching & teaching skills
  • Lean Manufacturing methodologies knowledge & practical experience
  • Process & Project Management Skills
  • Well organized & focused on priorities (personal efficiency)
  • Strong analytical mind, attention for detail and accuracy
  • Conceptual thinking, interpretation of data and translating into pragmatic customeroriented solutions
