The work
We are looking for front-end developers to help us enhance our product. You will have the opportunity of shipping production-ready code for hundreds of our hotel clients around the world.

In Witbooking you'll be involved in all the steps of software development and given the opportunity to come up with new ideas for our customers needs.

As a frontend engineer you'll be working with React, Node and, all things JS, HTML and CSS to create high performance UI components.

Other technologies/tools we use on a daily basis are:
Git, Kubernetes,Vercel,Netlify, AWS, JIRA.

Who you are:

You're someone who's looking to master frontend technologies, while working within a small, focused team of like-minded individuals. Passion for coding is a must.

Requirements:

5+ years of professional software development experience
Proficiency as a Typescript developer, using existing frameworks and tools (mainly ES7, webpack, react angular, vue) to build dynamic data driven interactive web experiences
Experience in working with Frontend technologies like HTML5, CSS3, StoryBook
Experience with REST, JSON
Experience with frontend testing (any libraries like Reacttesting library, Playwright, Cypress)
Collaboration mindset, allowing you to do things like helping the backend engineers in designing, specifying and implementing services to decouple functionality
Identifying bottlenecks, using tools to diagnose and refactor code for scale
Enthusiasm, Hard worker, can do attitude and always up for a joke.
Creative mind for solving complex software problems and proposing efficient solutions.
BS/MS in Computer Science or similar

Nice to have:

Experience with NextJS or Remix
Interested in functional programming

- gRPC Web

Robust CI/CD experience
NodeJS experience
DDD /Hexagonal architecture
Knowledge of RDBMs like MySQL / Aurora, and NOSQL (MongoDB, Redis) and data modelling
