Job Description Summary:

Role Summary/Purpose:
To

Lead the Global inspection list set up for raw material and manufacturing processes.
Handle Incoming inspection set up and Data management in ERP.
Master data setup & handling of blade inspections, operations in ERP.

_ Key responsibilities include:
_

Inspection list management

Manage set up of receiving inspection and manufacturing process in ONE LM
Drive value addition projects which involve automations, optimizations of inspection processes etc. focusing on quality and lead times.
Creation of blades inspections and routes & operations in Ax2012 ERP system as per the project plan
Handling engineering change requests within given timelines and process improvements from BU's & other functions
Creation of CTQ's and mapping with inspections in system
Review and challenge FMEA, control plans that are linked to inspection lists
Support and drive for functionality improvements in Ax2012 ERP system as required
Support BU users and BPE's during Go-Live and assist other global functions as required
Creation and Maintenance of Routes & Operations in system & TCE

Receiving inspection governance:

Create, monitor control form and control plan for receiving inspection by involving proactively with engineering to establish effective test methods for Receiving inspection
Ensure the bill of documents (control form and Control plan) related to items are released
Own the BMS process for Receiving inspection guidelines
Provide training to plant in usage of control plan and control form
Manage set up of receiving inspection in ONE LM
Ensure the released measurements for receiving inspection will have approved gauge R & R

Lab governance:

Align with TVC related to global equipment standards
Establish lab equipment standardization
Implement program for lab personal qualification
Maintain the list of qualified inspectors in labs
Monitor the retesting performing in plants and drive actions to reduce retesting

Assurance:

Certifying lab against LM requirements
Completion of audit as per yearly plan
Monitor and track audit finding and follow up on closure of actions related to audits

Training:

_ Required Qualifications:
_

A bachelor's degree in engineering with experience as a quality engineer.
Total 8 years of High-Volume Manufacturing, 3 years of experience in manufacturing, 5 years of work experience in Receiving inspection and lab preferably from Composites and Aero industries International experience and cultural awareness covering Americas, Europe, India and China
Lead Auditor Certification for ISO/TS Quality Management System (desirable)
Six sigma green belt certification will be added advantage Auditing skills as per ISO, TS
Knowledge on the Quality Management systems.
Knowledge on Chemical inspection and Receiving inspection methodology
Good knowledge related to quality, reliability, quality business processes.
Knowledge of PDCA, SPC, 8D, Poke Yoke and FMEA methodologies.
Willingness to take responsibility and drive the solution of complex problems.
Must be a team player capable of integrating and work well in a cross functional team.
Results driven, with analytical and numeric skills.
Ability to work under deadlines.
Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal (key)
