As a

Territory Sales Representative, you will be selling directly to Enterprise accounts of our leading NoSQL database, Capella. You will be part of a sales team that has established Couchbase as the first Engagement Database in the world. This is a remote position based in Spain.


You'll be driving enterprise opportunities and selling the value of our product and services offering, selling the value of our product and services offering.

This is an exciting position with significant potential in the region.


Responsibilities:


  • Close business to meet or exceed quarterly, and annual bookings objectives
  • Uncover opportunity at existing accounts and establish new accounts to develop sales pipeline
  • Conduct online presentation of the company and product line
  • Conduct online highlevel demonstration of the products
  • Limited travel to customer sites as appropriate
  • Manage opportunities and forecast

Desired Qualifications:


  • 25 years of whole sales cycle experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar field.
  • Can articulate a track record of producing a new logo/pipeline generator at a startup or small company with large company competition
  • Previous experience in a consultative selling or presales role would be ideal
  • Trained in Strategic Selling methodology (M-H, MEDDIC desired)
  • Experience selling cloud solutions is a plus

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Must have experience in the Spanish market and a fluent Spanish speaker.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and to be an outstanding team player
  • Selfmotivated, independent, and highperformance individual, with the ability to learn and become productive extremely fast
  • Superb relationshipbuilding skills and ability to show value to clients
  • Ability/willingness to learn complex technical products.
