Senior Network Administrator
IT
VHIR offers a vacant position for a Senior Network Administrator to join the IT team and provide support to the
IT unit by administering network infrastructure.
The IT Unit of VHIR is composed of an operational core of professionals who lead the processes linked to the
information systems of VHIR and promote the aspects of management, planning and monitoring of outsourced
services and projects under development. They respond to the IT needs of both the research staff and the
research support units of VHIR, in terms of information technology and computing infrastructures.

Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree

- CCNP Security
- CCNP Routing and Switching
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- At least 10 years of experience working as a network engineer.
- Knowledge of managing Cisco switching and routing, Cisco Wireless, Palo Alto Firewall, Global Protect VPN,
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level)

Main responsibilities and duties:
- Managing firewalls, policy rules, wireless infrastructure, switching, routing,
- Collaboration and coordination between VHIR IT department and other partners in Campus Hospital Vall
- Managing and supervising other companies that provide their services to the VHIR
- Analyzing the network performance, prevent security incidents, and improving VHIR's network performance
- Plan network infrastructure related to the new building scheduled for 202
- Involved in cybersecurity management and other IT projects
Labour conditions:
- Fulltime position: 40h/week
- Starting date: July 2023
- Gross annual salary: euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges
