The Render Assistantis responsible forsubmitting transversal renders into the render farm, examining themfrom a technical point of view and identify and reportany issuesthat may arise.

The Render Assistant will also be responsible for debugging and troubleshooting any rendering problems and will report the issues to the appropriate department.

Requirements:

02 years of professional experience in VFX or animation industries.
Experience in Maya and Houdini.
Experience in Arnold.
Python scripting and programming skills are a big plus.
3D general knowledge (Modeling, Surfacing, Animation, Lighting).
Strong artistic or/and technical aptitude related to 3D animation is a must.
Spanish.
Medium English level desirable.

Responsibilities:

Submit render jobs into the farm.
Analyze and store the render data from the farm.
Publish the render results (videos and render data).
Debug and troubleshoot any rendering problems that may arise.
Report the render issues to the appropriate departments.
Clearly and rigorously describe any issues or problems that are encountered during the rendering process.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a successfulbug fixing.
Perform technical tests related to rendering process.
Updatedepartment documentation.
Attend technical meetings as requestedin order to betrained and updated in the new studio/department tools, pipelines, workflows, etc.
Actively participate in the development of internal department workflows by contributing with ideas, solutions, and feedback to improve efficiency in the different processes.
Assists other team members, when necessary.
Follows the department supervisor and leads'instruction.
