The Strategic Partnerships Senior Manager will lead KAYAK'ss affiliate partnership strategy in the EMEA region, working closely with our partners to drive growth and increase the success of the KAYAK Affiliate Network.

The role will report to the Director of Strategic Partnerships.

KAYAK is seeking a highly-motivated, Strategic Partnerships Manager to be part of our EMEA partnerships team. This role will require both account management and business development. The position will be developing new strategic partnership opportunities for KAYAK across all travel verticals.


In this role, you will:


  • Developing and implementing a strategic partnership plan for the Region
  • Identifying and securing new partnership opportunities to support the KAYAK's business objectives
  • Managing existing partnerships and developing positive relationships with partners
  • Collaborating with internal teams such as finance, legal, product and marketing to ensure that partnership initiatives align with the company's goals and objectives
  • Analyse market trends and industry developments to identify new partnership opportunities
  • Developing and driving effective gotomarket strategies for new products and services
  • Negotiating partnership agreements and contracts
  • Ensuring that partnership initiatives are properly tracked and measured for success
  • Represent KAYAK at industry events in the region
  • Own the strategic partnership business development team across the region.
  • 6+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or related roles, with a proven track record of success
  • Positive relationship management experience.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working in the region and a deep understanding of the local market and culture
  • Fluent in English written and spoken. Second European Language a plus.
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to effectively liaise with internal technical teams and comfort interacting with senior members of the KAYAK team across globally located offices.
  • This role requires some domestic and international travel (1020%)
