Role Purpose


Supporting the Lead of Regional and the remaining members of Group Tax in overseeing and managing tax activities in XX countries.

In coordination with the Head of Tax Operations, he or she will support the co-creation of the new organization and work in the area of local tax governance, audit & risk management.

Act as a business partner and support coordination with local and global stakeholders ensuring tax outcomes are aligned to global tax strategy and compliant with local laws as well as international standards.


Your Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting enhancement of business operations and tax input on new business initiatives checking with relevant stakeholders compliance with all local tax laws, regulations, and global policies
  • Help monitoring local and international tax environment developments, support measures/initiatives and help implementing them after approval from the Head of Tax Operations
  • Work and collaborate closely with the other members of Group Tax as well as Finance and other core stakeholders and act as point of contact to drive quality and ensure compliance
  • Maintaining the tax calendar as well as contribution of information to dashboards and other monitoring tools and reporting templates
  • Ensure the implementation of local guidelines/work instructions and trainings in order to properly manage changes in tax related processes
  • Support the monitoring of the effective corporate tax rate and the country profitability in the region, and provide support for the implementation of adopted measures in close collaboration other functions

  • Maintain professional tax expertise for the region by investing in tax knowledge development

Minimum requirements

  • Specialist in corporate and international tax, with excellent knowledge in other tax relevant areas
  • Ideally with a past of 34 years' experience in tax consulting and additionally 34 years as inhouse tax position
  • ERP system (SAP, etc.) knowledge / Indirect Tax Knowledge a plus
