Job purpose


As a Senior Manager - Reporting & Controlling, you will be responsible for the full cycle from Order to Cash for the legal entities in the European region.

You will review, consolidate and analyze all the billing, sales and revenue information. And will ensure that the collections are maximized.

You should be able to analyze the information in a detailed and critical way as this is relevant information shared with the Executive Committee.


What will you do?

  • Manage all operations related to the Order to Cash process for the European entities: billing, account receivable, cash and revenue Recognition.
  • Be responsible of the billing process and entries. Ensure that it is properly done, efficiently, with accuracy and on time (the position has 2 direct reports for billing purposes)
  • Ensure that the revenue is properly recognised as per local rules and IFRS15 rules. Keep control on the accrued/deferred revenue and percentage of completion
  • Maximise the debtors collections. Close control on ageing.
  • Analyse monthly deviations versus Budget and previous months
  • Prepare consolidated information for the legal entities in the European region
  • Coordinate and prepare the budget, rolling forecast and strategic plan for you region as per HQ instructions
  • Review and validate the new sales opportunities: support in RFP's, pricing and financial contract clauses according to the Group policy
  • Monitoring customer contracts (new, changes, amendments, cancellations)
  • Monitoring account receivables: reporting, controlling, internal coordination and customer claim
  • Support monthend and yearend closing process
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Continuous improvement of the "Order to Cash" process and controls
  • Participate actively in the migration to a new ERP for finance and billing

What do you need to know?

  • Fluent English
  • At least 7 years of experience in similar profile
  • Proven experience in Big 4 will be valuable
  • 3 years managing a Team
  • Expert in Microsoft Office Tools, principally Excel
  • Experience in handling accounting systems such as MS Dynamics, ORACLE, etc
  • Participation in new ERP implementation projects is valuable
  • Good communication skills written, oral, interpersonal.
  • Ability to work well with Teams to deliver Team Objectives.
  • Graduate Degree in Finance & Accounting or equivalent
