The Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) is a non-profit research center located in Barcelona dedicated to advancing the understanding of leukemia and related disorders, in partnership with the University of Barcelona and the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

The IJC has research facilities in 5 clinical campuses:

  • Hospital Clínic
  • Hospital de Sant Pau
  • Hospital Germans Trias Pujol
  • Hospital del Mar
  • Hospital Josep Trueta Girona

IJC acts as a collaborative hub where basic researchers and physicians collaborate on essential clinical and biological aspects of leukemia. The work environment at IJC is exceptional, blending state-of-the-art ideas and facilities in a multidisciplinary setting.

We are seeking a POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER to join the team led by Dr. Gregoire Stik.

Research Focus:

Requirements:

  • PhD in Biomedical Sciences or similar
  • Previous experience in tasks relevant to the role
  • Expertise in genomic research and bioinformatics analysis
  • Postdoctoral experience outside Spain is a significant advantage
  • Outstanding English communication skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Organized, proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic
