- Leading the setup and implementation of purchasing strategy aligned with Domain Purchasing Manager.
- Managing frame contracts with suppliers to secure our business.
- Evaluating supplier performance in terms of quality, price, technology, delivery, and project development.
- Conducting purchasing reporting and analysis as requested.
- Tracking delivery performance and supporting procurement activities for key suppliers.
- Providing strong support to FMG global plants to ensure optimal cost-effective balance of local and global sourcing options and negotiating for local and global demand.
- Implementing NPI sourcing strategy and making sourcing decisions on time.
- Benchmarking to find the best cost sourcing options to keep us competitive.
- Undertaking any ad hoc duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in the field of purchase and project management.
- Experience with MRP system will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of purchase processes and project management.
- Experience in contract/price negotiations and sourcing.
- Experience with demand forecasting, planning, and procurement activities.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish languages.
- A good team player who is proactive, independent, and resourceful.
