EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union and Europe's largest network for transport innovation in cities.
Using cities as living labs, our industry, research and university partners will demonstrate how new technologies can work to solve real problems in real cities by transporting people, goods and waste in smarter ways.
About Innovation Hub South:
EIT Urban Mobility is divided geographically in 5 different Hubs. One of them is the innovation Hub South that covers the European Mediterranean with headquarters in Barcelona.
Be part of a team where:
The
Ecosystem engagement Assistant will be based in Barcelona and support the Innovation Hub South Team.
The jobholder will monitor, analyse and promote
Network
engagement (partners, cities & stakeholders) in the EIT Urban Mobility activities supporting maximum connection between their needs and plans.
Support in monitoring and analysing the Innovation Hub South ecosystem's participation in EIT Urban Mobility's activities (Innovation/academy calls, non-funded activities, etc via the hub's engagement tool).
Tasks will include:
- Assist in
daytoday management of current partner cities/companies and
engaging with new ones: incorporate information in the records system, develop statistics and reports for cities/companies and leads analysis, minutes and follow up, engaging with partners coming from the calls, etc. - Provide support in coordinating the
onboarding of new partners and prepare a 'welcome package' to ensure their engagement and the full utilization of the benefits of being a partner of EIT Urban Mobility. - Proactively propose and support
matchmaking across our network based on the above and linking it with the EIT Urban Mobility activities (calls and events). - Support in managing
innovation activities in the Hub South community by helping the partners with the preparation for innovation competitive calls and in the scouting of city challenges and innovation solutions. - Support the preparation of the
Country strategies for the Innovation Hub South scope.
What you will bring along the way:
Must-have:
- A University Degree in Business administration, political science or any technological/mobility fields.
- Written and spoken English (C1).
- At least 1 year of professional experience performing relevant tasks to the job description.
- Communication skills: professional experience simplifying complex messages and providing visually engaging materials.
- Ability to analyse, organize, report and provide recommendations.
- Motivation to work in a fastmoving, innovative, multicultural and sometimes ambiguous environments.
- Capability to work crossfunctionally with multiple reporting lines
Nice-to-have:
- Relevant professional experience working with the public sector.
- Relevant professional experience working in the urban mobility field.
- Spanish and any further additional EU language are a plus.
