We're reinventing early childhood education through an online learning service for kids.

With fresh content - games, books, videos, interactive episodes, etc - every week, we are helping more than 60M families and their children around the world to develop their skills in a fun and effective way.

Our talented team of product designers, software engineers, and content producers tweak and improve our product daily while incorporating feedback from our customers.


Are you ready to playwork with us?:

As our Administrative Intern, you will join Lingokids to support our People & Culture team, which is responsible for creating a high-performing team and an engaging experience for all employees.


You will be helping our People Operations and our Workspace & Wellbeing specialists in their daily matters, helping maintain our amazing culture and supporting the employee experience of our peers.


For that role, note that we will need this role to be
working from the office on a daily basis.


Responsibilities:


As an Administrative Intern, you will be supporting our People & Culture team, focusing especially on the
People Operations and the Workspace & Wellbeing area.

Regarding the People Operations area, you will be giving support to our People Operations specialist on:

  • Employee experience.
Your role will contribute to ensuring employees have the best experience when it comes to:
onboarding and offboarding, and managing access to the different tools and systems we use.

  • Paperwork.
You will support the team in generating and managing HR documentation, such as:
hiring documentation, company certificates, addendums, salary letters, leaves, and other legal documents.

  • People Operations. You will participate in managing different Human Resources procedures such as Visas and relocations; employee benefits, Risk Prevention (PRL), internal audits and reports, training requests, and FUNDAE management.

When it comes to Workspace & Wellbeing area, you will give support to our People Experience specialist on:

  • Office management: maintaining the office as the best environment for our employees to work in; as well as managing the different daily tasks including purchases and shipments, hardware and software requests, general support with events and meetings, and invoices.
  • Communication: we have a culture of open and constant communication, and you'll be part of it. You'll support building different companywide communications like new joiners presentations, company newsletters, or news announcements.

Desired experience:


We don't need specific HR experience, but we do want to find someone who has an interest in understanding the inner workings of a People & Culture team.

You do, however, need to be able to demonstrate ability on:

  • Being people-oriented. Employees are first, that's one of our principles. Everything we do, we do it to build a better workplace, and having employees in the center is a must.
  • Multitasking. Ability to manage different projects at the same time. This doesn't mean that we're chaotic, but that we're usually handling different requests in parallel.
  • Communication skills. Our team is constantly communicating with employees and the company as a whole, so we'll expect you to be able to communicate in public and find the right words for every moment.
  • Attention to detail. You will be exposed to important documentation and projects that impact everyone in the company. So being meticulous is definitely needed
English is a must.

We are a multicultural team, and we are providing a service in English so, we don't care about certificates, but we expect you to be able to communicate fluently.

You should feel equally comfortable communicating in long-form writing.

We have become a fully remote company so, we believe that being articulate in both spoken and written long-form asynchronous communication is key to working efficiently together.
