We are searching for
a VALIDATION AND TESTING ENGINEER to join an interesting project in Pamplona, working for one of our wind customers.

Preparation and execution of tests according to Test Requests for components and WTG prototypes.

Components and systems tests are mainly focus (but not restricted) to the WTG actuation systems Pitch, hydraulic groups, Yaw and lubrication systems.

Test scopes are mostly targeting performance, extreme and fatigue conditions.

Main tasks:

Test set up, test procedure and test procurement plant definition (upon given test request).
Benchmark of test facilities: Capabilities, availability and cost wise analysis of most suitable test facilities to perform the test campaign.
Definition of the instrumentation, data acquisition and data postprocessing requirements.
Test preparation: Resources, materials, operation procedures, procurement of tools and securing of test facility/test means.
Test Execution, follow up and periodical reporting.
Development of data postprocessing routines (by means of Matlab or similar) and test report documents.

Mechanical/Industrial engineering degree
Proven experience in testing activities management (design of tests)
Background/knowledge in WTG systems, primarily Actuation systems but it is also valuable the knowledge in other components like Gearbox and bearings, thermal conditioning systems.
Alternative background in testing activities for the aeronautical or car industry would also be valuable.
Proven skills in data processing and analysis.
English: high level.

This position could be carried out by working from home, with periodical domestic and international travels.
