Role Purpose


The FC&C Manager is responsible for the compliance process in the country collaborating with global team and external auditors for efficient and effective testing and audits.


  • The geographical scope of the role is Spain and Portugal Operational entities enclosing both Commercial & Manufacturing legal entities
    Your Key Responsibilities
  • Define compliance agenda, projects, and initiatives
  • Ensure adequate reporting of adverse events / technical complaint / compliance issue in accordance with company procedures
  • Define targets and measure, monitor, & assess process performance
  • Provide guidance, advisory support, and recommendations on matters relating to governance, risk, and compliance. Review, motivate and recommend processes, systems policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Manage the country internal financial controls; ensures appropriate compliance and usage by performing regular compliance tests and audits.
  • Liaison/coordination with different functions/ departments, including obtaining/providing subcertifications, testing etc.
  • Actively supports Sandoz working style by being inclusive, proactive, respectful, and results driven in alignment with Sandoz values and behaviors
  • Helps with assessment activities to ensure the business units are in compliance with standard regulatory and policy requirements
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, and ability to clearly present financial data in reports distributed to regional and global officers but also to nonFinance stakeholders
  • Ensure all processes, policies and procedures are clearly defined, fully documented, in line with Sandoz standards and consistent with best practices.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and/or Finance or similar degree
  • 34 years' financial experience, preferably in Big 4 public accounting, healthcare industry or large corporation with shared service concept
  • SAP knowledge
  • Project Management exposure advantageous
  • Fluent English written and spoken
