    • Solicitor Qualification
    • Training in the UK and Wales required
    • Commercial Law Experience
    • Minimum 3-5 years experience, with a strong focus on buyer-seller agreements and contract negotiation
    • Familiarity with Local Law
    • South African commercial law highly desirable, or a willingness to gain proficiency in local legal frameworks
    • Clinical Skills
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal information clearly and effectively

    Responsibilities

    • Legal Advice
    • Provide legal advice and representation in matters related to buyer-seller agreements and other commercial transactions
    • Contract Management
    • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring they comply with local and international legal standards
    • Transaction Support
    • Assist clients with mergers, acquisitions, and other complex commercial transactions
    • Research and Development
    • Conduct thorough legal research to provide accurate and up-to-date advice to clients
    • Client Collaboration
    • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop tailored legal strategies for unique business challenges
    • Regulatory Compliance
    • Work closely with clients relocating to or investing in South Africa, providing legal counsel on local regulatory requirements and compliance
