The Role:


Elusav Recruitment currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager with one of Irelands most reputable contractors based on a high profile industrial project in Madrid.

This is a permanent position.


As Mechanical Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the management of a large mechanical packages and be responsible for directing a team of mechanical supervisors & foremen.

The Construction Manager will be responsible for supporting the project manager in all construction related activities including planning, programming, coordination, site meetings, procurement, managing sub-contractors and direct staff etc


Responsibilities:


  • Project Management.
  • Prepare relevant reports.
  • Management of Design Consultants and Building Contractors.
  • Provide solutions and cost projections.
  • Management of Site Design and Construction processes.
  • Planning of all resources including labour, materials, and subcontractors.
  • To manage and drive a large team to meet with all project requirements and deadlines.
  • Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Ensure project profitability.
  • Commissioning projects.
  • Reporting on construction progress.

Job Requirements:


  • Mechanical trade or Engineering background essential.
  • Experience working with any of the following materials and jointing methods also an advantage: PVC, PVDF, PP, S/S, C/S, orbital and tig welding and fusion jointing.
  • Proven record of coordinating and managing large industrial projects e.g F&B, Pharmaceutical, distribution centers, data centers, Semiconductor.
  • A minimum of 4 years as a Mechanical Construction Manager.
