- Developing user stories working solo or pairing with a colleague .
- Discussing functional and technical solutions with the different stakeholders in the business, UX designers, architecture, and engineering managers to ensure US are refined and understood at the correct level.
- Write the automated testing required to ensure your stories meet the criteria to be considered "Done".
- Ensuring delivered solutions are developed under DevOps practices and latest technology trends.
- Keeping the solutions delivered running healthy in production minimising incidents and maximising quality of service.
- A software engineer who takes pride in their craftsmanship and in the results that they deliver.
- + - years of related experience.
- University degree in technology, preferably in computer science.
- Java .
- Extensive knowledge of working with distributed infrastructure systems and client-server architectures.
- Back-end technologies such as Springboot , Node JS, Mongo DB, Java, npm packaging, RESTful APIs. Experience in IBM API Connect and StrongLoop is a plus .
- Excellent working knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience of using agile methodologies embedding TDD (test-driven development) and BDD as part of development lifecycle.
- Experience with API development (REST).
- Knowledge of continuous Integration and continuous delivery using Jenkins and the Nexus repository manager.
- Knowledge of Docker , Git, GitHub , Openshift and MicroServices Architecture.
- English at least C.
- Availability to travel if needed.
