    Mission and Responsibilities:

    The CDO team at Banco Santander leads and drives data projects, ensuring the implementation of global policies and standards while promoting data as a key asset.

    The team safeguards against potential data risks, supporting both Spain's operations and international expansion.

    Combining functional and technical vision, the main role will be as a DATA STEWARD for B2B business:

    • Management of the data lifecycle, ensuring data governance and control.
    • Extensive knowledge of data domain (B2B operational models).
    • Definition of data flows.
    • Data-centric quality framework.
    • Definition of remediation plans by data point.
    • Inventory of users of the data.
    • Constant update of Data Dictionary and reports library.

    To be successful in the role, you must have:

    • At least 4 years of experience in Data Management and Data Analytics.
    • Experience in the financial/banking industry.
    • Ability to query data in SQL and/or Python and MS Office proficient.
    • Advanced knowledge of data architectures (preferable big data arch) and associated technologies related to data (IT stack of a financial entity).
    • Preferable experience using Data management tools.
    • Languages: Fluent Spanish and Advanced English (C1).
