Essential Qualifications- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or an equivalent qualification as recognized by the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).- A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.- First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.


Essential Skills and Attributes- Deep understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to deliver high-quality education programs.- Ability to plan, implement and evaluate educational programs tailored to individual children's needs and interests.- Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with children, families and colleagues.- Skill in observing children's progress, documenting their learning and using this information to guide future planning.- Ability to work effectively with other educators, support staff and families to create an inclusive, responsive, and respectful learning environment.


Desirable Skills and Knowledge- Prior experience in teaching in an early childhood settings.- Ensuring an inclusive environment where all children, regardless of their backgrounds or abilities, can thrive.- Familiarity with the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations.- Engagement in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest educational trends and practices.- Familiarity with relevant software and technology tools used for children's documentation and parent communication.
