    This manager-level position is responsible for a segment within a given practice focused on a specific industry, service line, technology center, specialty area or region. Responsible for managing the three main pillars of a practice: people management, portfolio/delivery management and sales enablement. Has profit and loss responsibility or financial/expense management of practice.

    Skills & Experience:


    • Degree educated with 5 years + experience of managing complex IT / software projects to closure, on time and within budget, using established project management disciplines and methodologies.

    • Solid understanding of SDLC, Waterfall and Distributed Agile methodologies

    • Experience of managing multiple technical projects of varied complexity utilizing cross-functional teams in multiple locations. Experience of managing projects in a global matrix organization is essential.

    • Strong exposure to Financial Services. Delivery focused business oriented professional with +10 years of experience in Finance & Risk Transformation in Banking with experience in the following areas: reporting, product control, accounting and treasury functions, funds transfer pricing, market risk, liquidity Risk, transactional accounting, Basel III regulatory reporting and Forecasting.

    • A plus will be a good understanding of Financial Crime, Risk, Regulatory Reporting and Data Integration

    • Knowledge of Software as a Service (Saas)

    • PMP certification very important but must be willing to adapt to detailed processes and methodologies.

    • Fluent English, Spanish, a plus Italian or Portuguese.

    • Other information: Frequent travel (average 50-70% of the time)

    Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

    Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer's objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.

    10-15 years of experience relevant to this position including +10 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.

    Accountable for operational/financial metrics and overall business results of practice. Responsible for maintaining practice direction, ensuring quality of consulting delivery, and maintaining customer referenceability. Ensures that operational policies are followed and that business objectives are achieved by focusing on best practices and process improvements. Develops plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieves business plan. Is accountable for managing and growing a revenue stream and customer base. Typically manages individual contributors. May serve as advisor for moderately complex engagements.
