    Job Title: Linguistic Quality Assurance Specialist

    We are excited to announce the opening of a new studio in Madrid, where we will be working on various gaming projects. As a Linguistic Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our games meet the highest standards of quality and linguistic accuracy.

    About the Role

    This is an onsite role, requiring your presence in the office from Monday to Friday, typically starting at 9:00 am. Your main responsibilities will include:

    • Testing games for linguistic bugs and reporting them using a bug database
    • Checking in-game text for accuracy and correctness, adhering to cultural rules
    • Learning and following the Universally Speaking LQA process and professional standards
    • Writing detailed bug reports and ensuring bugs are fixed and implemented correctly

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you should have:

    • Expert-level Spanish language skills
    • Proficiency in written and spoken English
    • Prior experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading (preferably)
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
    • Good computer skills, including MS Office Suite and CAT tools (MemoQ)

    What We Offer

    We offer a competitive salary of around €17k-19k per year, depending on your experience. You will also receive training and learning opportunities to help you develop the skills needed for this role.

    This is a temporary contract position, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
