Job description:


  • Implementing competitive projects and applied research initiatives at the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center.

Key tasks and responsibilities:


  • Conduct literature searches related to entrepreneurship topics, especially corporate venturing, scaleups, and technology transfer: identification of articles, summarize key findings, etc.
  • Providing support in related tasks to studies: surveys, interviews, writing, qualitative analysis (maybe some quantitative), writing, proofreading, and design of presentations.
  • Build and develop materials for presentations.
  • The early/initial estimation is around 7080% of backoffice and 2030% of frontoffice.
  • Other tasks related to the development of the Center and the school.

Requirements:


  • Native English and Spanish both speaking and writing.
  • Competitive projects experience: between two to six years of experience in European projects related to entrepreneurship and/or innovation (e.g., Horizon Europe, European Institute of Innovation and Technology, or other European programs/initiatives).
  • Applied research experience: therefore, either:
  • Option 1: Master's degree in management, economics, or related discipline with between 2 and 3 years of proven professional experience in applied research.
  • Option 2: or Ph.
D. in management, economics, or a related discipline (already finished at the starting date), who has recently finished the studies.[1]

  • Demonstrated ability in applied research.
  • Experience with social research methods: qualitative (must) and quantitative (bonus).
  • Workpermit for Spain (NIE, etc.).
  • Advanced office skills, especially with Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Highly trusted person who works towards excellence and spirit of service, who can easily work with other international team members.
  • Orientation to detail, especially in proofreading and analytics.
  • Problem solver, positive, mentorable, and flexible.
