Company Description

What you'll do:

The Central Functions Finance team sits within the Adevinta Group FP&A organisation. The team provides full finance business partner support to senior enabling functions stakeholders.

This Central Functions Analyst is a 12-month temporary contract covering maternity leave.

Key responsibilities:

Assist in all aspects of the P&L budget and forecast processes for the Finance, People, Communications, Workplace Resources, Legal and Executive teams

Support the preparation of high quality business reports on each function, to provide accurate information and insights

Report on actual financial results and headcount levels against targets, provide analysis of forecast variances, and assist in guidance on future trends

Deal with data issues to ensure accuracy of outputs, working closely with the Financial Accounting team to ensure costs are correctly accounted for in the finance systems

Proactively examine opportunities to improve efficiencies and processes

Support key senior leaders with ad-hoc analysis and inputs on cross-functional group-wide projects

Assist the Central Functions Finance Manager and senior business partners to ensure key operational and financial targets are achieved in line with Adevinta's wider group strategy
