    Job Description

    The Corporate Operations Trainee plays a vital role in supporting the strategic plans and objectives of the Corporate Operations Department.

    This hands-on, methodical, and business-focused function is responsible for creating memorable moments for guests, taking ownership of assigned activities, and collaborating closely with key business partners to deliver quality results.

    The job incumbent serves as an ambassador for the brand, reflecting the company culture and values. All work is carried out in accordance with company corporate policies, procedures, and service concepts according to local requirements and regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support and assist in the smooth running of the Corporate Operations department, ensuring diligent system process control and maintaining well-maintained systems and robust IT procedures.
    • Work proactively with key stakeholders to ensure business readiness and contingency plans are in place, operation systems operate as they should, and provide a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.
    • Develop and implement operations strategies where objectives are communicated at all levels, performance of system software and hardware is audited and reported upon, enabling strategic business decisions to be made.
    • Understand the overall objectives and operational aspects of all processes, ensuring that all standards and disciplines are controlled, audited, and ensuring system efficiencies are attained.
    • Develop and build own skills, knowledge, and experience at every opportunity, aligning with the culture of growth, development, and performance expected by the company.
    • Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders and partners, both internal and external, ensuring all communications and activities are controlled and undertaken in a timely manner.
    • Monitor and secure Operational Excellence initiatives.
    • Review and scrutinize operations performance, in accordance with company policy, objectives, and standard operations practices, providing recommendations that drive financial performance and add value.
    • Ensure adherence to all legislation, performing due diligence requirements, best practice activities, and documenting for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.

    Requirements:

    • Good command of written and spoken English.
    • Open and positive communicative perspective.
    • Outstanding analytical and strategic skills improving the business from an operations perspective.
    • Ability to handle multiple challenging priorities and assignments in an environment demanding excellence, time, and energy.
    • Strong problem-solving capabilities, finding creative solutions, offering advice, and recommendations.
    • Skilled with Microsoft Office software, especially in Power Point and Excel, and strong in systems understanding.
    • Excellent ability to work collaboratively across functions and cultures in a global environment.
    • Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
    • Preferably experience in a Hotel Operations position.

    Duration:

    6 months

    Compensation:
