EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union and Europe's largest network for transport innovation in cities.

Our mission is to accelerate change towards a sustainable model of urban mobility and liveable urban spaces. With its department Impact Ventures, EIT Urban Mobility aims to become the reference impact investor in urban mobility start-ups.

Be part of a team where you will perform the following tasks:

To support the goal of positioning EIT Urban Mobility as the impact investor in urban mobility in Europe, the jobholder will be responsible for developing and delivering communication materials with a view to increase the awareness, visibility and understanding of EIT Urban Mobility's activities, results and achievements, targeted at the start-up ecosystems across all regions.

The
Communications Officer will support the Marketing Manager of Impact Ventures in developing and maintaining the Impact Ventures web landing pages and driving contributions to the overall EIT Urban Mobility communications.

The jobholder will support and develop press releases, news articles and interviews with companies of our investment portfolio, including the distribution by identifying and building relationships with relevant journalists, media agencies and influencers in the start-up ecosystem.

Additional tasks are:

Supervise social media presence, and create or redistribute relevant content;
Develop featured stories related to Impact Ventures activities; content generation and communication;
Support with the further development of the EIT Urban Mobility brand, targeting all region Startup ecosystems;

All the work is done in alignment and coordination with the central Communications & EU Affairs team. This to ensure coherence, alignment and avoid any duplication of work.

What you will bring along the way:

Must-Have:

A Degree in Communications, Advertising or Public Relations[1]
Excellent written and spoken English (C1);
At least 45 years of experience performing the tasks of the job description from a European context;
Professional experience in digital marketing and analytic tools;
Experience working in an international multistakeholder organization with a complex structure.
Strong organizational skills;
Strong communication skills;
Knowledge about the startups and entrepreneurial ecosystem;
Interest in the urban mobility sector;

Nice-To-Have:

Any other EU languages are a plus.
Experience working in an EU body performing similar tasks is an advantage.

Kindly note that this position is based in
Barcelona.
This is a
permanent and full-time position, with possibility to homework up to 2 days a week.

No relocation expenses are granted.
