As a Security Analyst, you will be part of the Cybersecurity Managed Services (CMS) SOC team in EY GDS Spain, a team with multidisciplinary professionals committed to providing top-notch services to our clients worldwide.

The opportunity

As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you'll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches.

You'll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.

Your key responsibilities

Operational support using SIEM solutions (Splunk, Sentinel), EDR Solution (Defender, CrowdStrike, Carbon Black), NSM (Fidelis, ExtraHop) for multiple customers
First level of monitoring and triaging of security alerts and escalation of security incidents to the appropriate team members for further investigation and resolution
Initial data gathering and investigation using SIEM, EDR, NSM solutions
Provide near realtime analysis, investigation, and reporting of security incidents for the customer
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of security incidents and associated actions taken

Skills and attributes for success

Prior experience in Security Monitoring and Incident response
Good knowledge of SIEM technologies such as Splunk, and Azure Sentinel from a Security analyst's point of view
Exposure to IoT/OT monitoring (Claroty, Nozomi Networks, etc.) is a plus
Familiarity with endpoint protection tools, techniques, and platforms such as Carbon Black, Tanium, CrowdStrike, Defender ATP, etc.

To qualify for the role, you must have

B2 English language level
Minimum 1 year of handson experience in a similar role

Readiness for working in rotational shifts 24/7

Ideally, you'll also have

Certifications such as CEH, ECSA, ECIH, Splunk, and/or Power User are desirable but not required
