To empower our Product Team, we are looking for a talented
Product Manager for our MathType Office Tools & Integrations squad.

MathType is a WYSIWYG equation editor that allows people to create and edit high-quality digital equations and we need a Product Manager that takes it to the next level.

We are
WIRIS, a software development company founded 20 years ago and headquartered in Barcelona with offices in the USA, Long Beach (California), since we acquired Design Science company in 2017.

Over the past few years, we've been named "The Makers of MathType", and
our mission is to make people's STEM work more meaningful by creating software with deep knowledge of advanced technology and science.

We are currently more than 90 people revolutionizing the educational field with innovative products that are continuously growing, enhancing our value proposition for our global customers such as NASA, Blackboard, Moodle, Yale University, and Pearson among others.

As the Product Manager, your main responsibilities would be:

Deep understanding of the product, its users, market, and competitors.
Writing detailed requirements of the functionalities so the dev team has all the information they need.
Coordinate with the development team lead and collaborate with Product Design to solve customer problems and cover their needs.
Lead and structure the squad ceremonies
Define metrics and KPIs to measure the performance trends of your product and its business impact, and take decisions based on it.
Prioritize the initiatives.
Coordinate and give support to other teams of the company (marketing, sales, customer success )
Identify customer needs and business opportunities by performing qualitative, quantitative, and competitive analyses and discoveries

Job Requirements

At least
5 years of experience in product management, with a track record of successful product marketing in a
B2B SaaS environment:
Solid understanding of how software is made endtoend.
Be used to
interpret and write detailed requirements documents, visualize every step of the process, set objectives, and prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
Proven ability working closely with developer teams, coordinating with the development team lead, and understanding their needs.
Strategic problemsolver personality and highly capable of formulating and communicating product vision and strategy, whether it be to a team of engineers or senior stakeholders.
Having experience in coordinating different teams inside the company to a common objective driven by product performance metrics.
Fluent in Spanish or English.
Understanding both is a must.

Nice to have

Experience in Google Analytics, Tableau, and Salesforce
Experience working with Agile frameworks.
Experience with continuous discovery and improvement.
Knowledge of the most common Product related software tools like Figma, Miro, and Notion.
