Our Opportunity

We are seeking a Data Management Consultant to join our global Data & Business Intelligence (DBI) department within Group Technology & Operations (GTO) focusing on data products and projects.

Your role

As a Data Management Consultant your main responsibilities will be:

Deliver new business engagements that require data management capabilities and solutions.
Specify generic data products and features, their value proposition and the approach to onboard business units.
Establish knowledge base around data and information requirements, business terminology, data flows and data quality issues.
Maintain relevant business glossaries and data classifications for data and business domains.
Analyse master data processes and data models including creation, lifecycle changes and consumption.
Analyse and classify data assets including profiles, pattern, quality, usage and risk.
Evolve rules for data recognition and discovery algorithms
Evolve global taxonomies for global data classification and data access.
Contribute to overall data management capability development, spanning various topics like data modelling, metadata management, data standardization and master & reference data management.

Your Skills and Experience

As a Data Management Consultant your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Bachelor level education, e.g. Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or other Engineering Discipline
5+ years of experience with data management projects or similar roles.
Experience in broader data management topics (critical data elements, metadata management, master & reference data management and analytics use cases.
Advanced proficiency in tools for data quality, metadata management, master data management and data análisis, like Informatica, Tibco, Collibra, IBM.
Understanding of data governance concepts.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office PowerPoint and Excel.
Good communication skills.
High proficiency in English.
Business and data analysis skills.
