For one of our clients, we are looking for a Civil Works and Steel Structures Engineer who will will be based in Belgium.

Under the supervision of the Director of Civil Works, the civil works and steel structures engineer will guarantee all the technical tasks of civil works required by the EPC, EPCM or basic engineering project.

Includes foundations, buildings (concrete and steel structures), pipe racks, warehouses, earthworks, roads, sanitation...

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordination and communication with clients, civil contractors, study offices...
Drafting of technical specifications and tender documents
Civil works guide plans with monitoring of equipment loads
Follow-up of study and execution plans
Verification and approval of plans, technical specifications, calculation notes, technical sheet in accordance with project specifications and standards
Milestone planning and tracking
Budgets and cost control
Solve technical problems
Write progress reports
Trips to work for technical guidance missions.

EXPERIENCE
Work experience in an international context.
Minimum experience of 7 years in industrial engineering (agroindustrial sectors of sugar, vegetable oils, biofuels, agrochemicals or biomass, fertilizers, process industry)
At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.

APTITUDES
Very well organized, very good at planning and prioritizing.
Autonomous
Rigorous
Very good communicator, works well in a team.

EDUCATION
Master in Civil Works Engineering.

French:
C1 minimum

English:
C1 minimum

Other languages are an advantage
