What will I be doing?

Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.

Lead automation strategy and framework implementation.

Collaborate with teams to define test requirements and prioritize cases for automation.

Evaluate and implement tools for test automation.

Ensure tests validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.

Monitor test metrics and communicate results to stakeholders.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the QA team.

Identify and address training needs for team skill development.

Maintain documentation for automated test processes and guidelines.

What skills do I need?

Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, XCTest, etc.

Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for automation like Java, and JavaScript.

Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

Proficiency in using Git for code management, branching, and merging.

Experience with test management tools like JIRA.

Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of QA automation engineers.

Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.

Effective communication with stakeholders to report on QA progress and issues.
